I completed the installation two weeks ago and the Dynavin N7 looks great in the 2002 M5. The material, buttons and back-lighting match the interior perfectly, making this a great solution for anyone who wants a modern head-unit while maintaining the “stock look”. The unit is paired with an otherwise stock DSP system and the difference in sound quality is night and day (using CD or Bluetooth audio as input). I left set the stock DSP setting with a slight bass boost, before removing the old head unit, and with the N7, the bass is much firmer and better defined. The highs are significantly more extended and with better resolution. It is a significant upgrade in terms of sound quality. The bluetooth audio and phone connection work well, as in any modern car. The unit loads up the phone book from my Android phone and the call quality seems quite good using the provided microphone. The mirror link is nice but it seems a little buggy, granted I have only tried one Android phone and this could be due to my phone. Peculiarly, the mirror link requires the phone to be in ‘developer mode’ with USB debugging enabled, which makes it seem like this feature is still in ‘beta mode’. In summary, I am very happy with the N7 unit and for anyone wanting to add modern audio and bluetooth features to an e39, while keeping the period look, this is a terrific option. Sure it’s a headache to run cables from the trunk to the headunit, but this is a small price to pay for gaining 21st century features without gutting the entire stock audio system.
Hello all! This is a great unit! The N7 Pro install is super smooth and 95% plug and play - only need to connect to the battery with one wire, everything else is already set and ready to go with the provided wiring harness. This works great with the Logic 7 system as well! Just make sure to get the MOST Adapter and you are good to go! To maintain full functionality of PDC and hear all outputs from HU (like Nav or Voice) make sure to get some single female to double male RCA Splitters. This is because the Logic 7 PDC is from rear inputs only. Best of all, this looks like it is a stock unit after installation. Looking at the inside of my 335i, it is almost difficult to tell its age! The N7 Pro really brings it up to date and gives the latest functionality for hands-free driving, navigation, and media streaming! Learned of the N7 through a post on an Audi enthusiast forum. I had an RNS-E system that I had installed...an upgrade from the factory Symphony II that was in there before. Spent a lot of time and no small amount of money to get a system that still didn't come close to the N7. I get to brag to my Audi buddies cuz I'll have something they don't. Most of them have B5 A4's and S4's. So far, I'm totally sold! I have a rear view camera that still needs installing and that will go in soon...just as soon as I figure out how to mount the camera to the trunk lid.

This radio has honestly exceeded my expectation. My amazing wife purchased as birthday/father's day gift to replace an OEM navigation system on my 2004 BMW 330ci. The sound quality has improved! I have android auto and Apple carplay! Most importantly for a convertible, I can see the screen! The fit and finish are top notch and looks OEM like it belongs. Very happy with the purchase and highly recommend.

Jeff was incredibly helpful and I love the new unit as does my wife. J&T delivers EVERY TIME !!! Looks stock, adds features, and everything just works right. If I had one wish, it would be that they added TPMS as an option. Then I could buy the matching transponders, and we'd be TOTALLY happy. Otherwise, the service and the support from J&T has no equal.

I purchased and installed an N7 Pro for a 2003 BMW 330i (E46) to replace an N7 I purchased two years ago. The older N7's navigation gave up for some undetermined reason and it's now out of warranty. I updated to the N7 Pro version for the Apple/Android interface and the fact that the unit still fits the dash like it's an OEM unit and Dynavin provides periodic firmware updates for the units. The large display is also appreciated, the stereo sound quality is pleasing to my ears, and the Bluetooth integration works well with my Samsung and the wife's Apple phone. The tech support I have received from Dynavin North America has also been responsive and prompt when I have needed assistance. My primary uses for the unit are stereo, navigation assistance, and Bluetooth phone integration. The unit has much more capability for other users that want to integrate cameras, A/V equipment, and the OBD interface for the car's systems.

After purchasing and installing a new head unit, one of the brackets broke. I reached out to customer service and they sent me new brackets at no cost. That’s how you keep keep customers happy! Great customer service!
